Contact RoomTamer
We welcome mathematical and physical acoustics correction reports, certified ASTM C423 / ISO 354 reverberation-chamber absorption datasheets for additional insulation products, and technical questions regarding our standing-wave, SBIR, and Sabine/Eyring RT60 calculators.

What to include when reporting a correction or submitting material data
- For wave-equation, diffuser, or reverberation formula corrections: Please include the specific guide URL or tool matrix row, the equation or physical constant in question (for example, speed of sound temperature dependence, Delany-Bazley flow resistivity coefficients, or Norris-Eyring mean free path assumptions), and the primary textbook or AES/ASA journal citation supporting the update. Verified revisions are logged under our corrections policy.
- For new porous absorber or barrier entries in the 24-Material Matrix: When requesting a new mineral wool, fiberglass, PET felt, or wood-slat product in the Acoustic Material Octave-Band Absorption Matrix, please provide the bulk density (
kg/m³orlb/ft³), panel thickness (mm), mounting configuration (Type A direct vs. Type E-100 / E-200 air-gap mount), and measured octave-band Sabine coefficients from125 Hz to 4000 Hz. - For browser calculator bug reports: Let us know your browser, operating system, and the exact room dimensions or surface areas entered into either the 3D Room Mode & Placement Planner or the Material Absorption & RT60 Matrix.
Academic & studio instruction inquiries
Audio engineering instructors, architectural acoustics students, and studio builders are welcome to cite our equations and print our static lookup tables for classroom or workshop reference. Please note that RoomTamer cannot review commercial building blueprints for municipal fire-code or structural load sign-off.
Response timeframe
We review all messages sent to editorial@roomtamer.example within three to five business days and update confirmed numerical corrections directly in our static HTML datasets.
What to include when reporting an acoustic calculation or measurement discrepancy
When submitting an equation verification request or reporting a discrepancy between our 3D Rayleigh modal solver and your Room EQ Wizard (REW) microphone sweep, please include your exact interior boundary dimensions (Length, Width, and Height in meters or feet), ambient room temperature, wall construction type (single-leaf drywall on wood studs, decoupled double-leaf clip assembly, or poured concrete masonry), and the exact cartesian coordinates of your loudspeaker acoustic center and measurement microphone capsule.
